I’ve talked about whiteboards before, and their greatness in being used as a status board, a mind mapping tool, and a notification system before, but here’s one more use of mine that I’ve been using more and more of late; this literally is “mind mapping”.

Anything that’s on my mind; be it a date, an event, a project or just “a thing”; will make it up on my whiteboard when I feel my mind’s RAM beginning to become overused, and be taken away later when it’s presence is no longer required. It’s a neat little combination of a notification system and a literal map of what’s on my mind.

What do you use your whiteboard for, and how effective is it at it’s job?
