Writer for iPad
I know I’m a little late to the game on this, but if you’re looking for a really decent text editor for the iPad, that’s good with eliminating distractions, then Writer could be what you’re looking for.
It uses a nice, custom monospace font for writing, which both looks nice and doesn’t distract from what you’re actually writing.
“Focus mode” is a function which dims the text of all but the last three lines you’ve been working on, which helps to keep you focused on your current thought; Such a function is truly a life saver when you’re stuck on a certain line and need to focus just on that line until you’re done with it.
On, and one more thing: It can sync text files to Dropbox for you if you please :) It’s just AU$5.99 on the App Store, and I highly recommend you take a look at it.
